This'll be my first Tekko, so I don't really know what "the abandoned area with the benches" refers to. Is there a name to it? Can I find it on a plan of the area?

Ok guys, here is the deal,
*Puts on his "Head of public safety" hat*
This will make me sound like a jerk, but, I have to say it.
I will allow the dance, since it's not really hurting anyone, but the first complaint my staff and I receive, I'll have to shut the dance down. In an effort to keep your idea from becoming an headache for everyone involved, I'll offer you some advice:
1) Volume in the hallways is going to be an issue. The most likely complaint to come of you holding a dance in the hallway is noise. Loud music in the hallways will only be tolerated for so long.
2) While I am really hoping this is not going to happen, I have to warn you that blocking the hallways is another thing that will get you into a bad situation. I know that this dance will take up space, just try and keep that to a minimum. Remember, Tekko is larger this year, so that space that you remember as uninhabited might not be as uninhabited this year.
There are other factors to take into account, but that's all I can think of at the moment.

We understand, the music is claiming and soothing sounds, and is a complete compilation of Anime Ball music. There will be a photoshoot there as well for all formal anime couples (sadly there is no place name but you will be able to see us)

This is all pretty common sense and it's no problem abiding by these simple rules. If anything, I doubt it'll even be an issue at all. If we even *get* to the point where our head count is large enough that volume and size becomes something to manage, I'd be surprised!

Awesome! Again, we'd hate for this to get too big, too loud and too out of hand and be told to clear out the area, but if we can remain inconspicuous even with DJ equipment then awesome!! Do you have many waltzes? I wouldn't want this to turn into a repeat of Katsu's latest ball attempt.

Indeed I do, from multiple JRPG's as well as oldschool victorian era (or earlier) waltzes. I assume you want this to be an actual waltz? Also, I'm bringing a small mixer and a computer so I can come straight from school (which luckily gets out at 12!). Either way, what happened with Katsu's attempt?

Eh... Lots of people compared it to a prom ball. As it started out they were playing four-beat songs barely acceptable for foxtrots, and it just kept degenerating from there. Within minutes it was an all-out rave, with no effort whatsoever to play appropriate music. And visibly the music coordinators and the organizers didn't talk, because the latter actually enforced a dress code trying to make this a real ball, but then you got in there to rave music. So you end up with people in dresses and heels confronted with mosh-pit style noise. It was such a disappointment.

They've been planning this as an unofficial dance for Thursday, sad to say.
