Over the past couple of years we (Tekkoshocon Inc.) have tried to present you (Guests) the best information about what is going on with Tekkoshocon Inc. and its Events. KuroKiiro this year proved to me that while our communication internally has gotten better in many ways, our outward communication has gotten… well… worse.
In the next coming days, the Event chairs of Tekkoshocon, KuroKiiro Festival, and Sangawa Project will get their own blogs to update you of what is going on in the community. Their thoughts about everything relating to the Event and more.
My hope is that people read these entries and get a better understanding of what is going on behind the scenes of this wonderful organization.
Hey Guys, I see the price for one day at the con is $50, wow. I could see
spending $30 for Saturday, but not $50. two people, $100, imagine, if you’ve never been to a anime con, wanted to go, Saturday was the only day you had available, but the high cost of the tickets was the reason you decided not to go. That would be a bad thing for the con. Add on parking, food, gas, it all adds up. I’ve been to quit a few, enjoyed it all. But, this is me.
I’d like to suggest handing out a survey when people either pick up or buy their badges. If you find the vast majority of con-goers are students and have classes during the week or work full time, it would make more sense to limit the convention to Friday, Saturday, and Sunday especially if the other days (Wednesday and Thursday) are otherwise hard or impossible to attend.
Thanks for listening!
